Introduction

Two day workshop encompassing the current state of the art in ultrafast chemical physics and includes invited seminars and contributions from leading international researchers. The meeting coincides with the award to Robin Hochstrasser of a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and he will present the plenary address.
