This symposium is tailored towards keen undergraduates, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in polymers and soft matter. Our plenary speakers include Prof Lorna Dougan, Prof Paul Clegg and Dr Bart Vorselaars, with Dr Chris Holland chairing an active discussion on the sustainability of biopolymers. Topics include energy & sustainability, health & medicine and data-driven and computational approaches. We are inviting 10-min contributed talks or posters from the community; please submit your abstract by 18 August 2023.
The symposium will take place on the afternoons of 7 and 8 September, 2023. It is free for IOP members and £15 for non-members (student memberships are £15/year for undergraduates and those within three years of their first degree).
