We have recently established the Continuous BioFlow Network. We are a group of researchers interested in the advancement of biomanufacturing and continuous flow biocatalysis. We are running a launch event at Heriot-Watt University on Friday 10th January 2025. The aim of the event is to incubate new partnerships across the UK to help advance the field of continuous biomanufacturing and flow biocatalysis. This will include attendees from academia and industry.
We have two plenary speakers, Prof. Ian Baxendale from Durham University, and Dr Sarah Cleary from HydRegen. We will also have talks from research hubs from across the UK discussing how they contribute to and could support continuous biomanufacturing research. All attendees are offered the chance to present their work through either a flash or poster presentation. There will be numerous opportunities for discussion and networking, and a drinks reception in the evening. The meeting is generously supported by funding from the Â鶹AV, and the Biomass Biorefinery Network (BBNet), a BBSRC NIBB. We would also like to thank our sponsors Advion-Interchim, Asynt, Huber, Oxford Instruments and Syrris AGI.
The event is free, but places are limited and will be allocated on a 'First-come, first-served basis'. Registration will close when we reach our maximum numbers. Please contact the organisers if you have any additional needs regarding your attendance at the meeting.
