ISACS: Challenges in Inorganic Chemistry

10 - 13 April 2017, Manchester, United Kingdom

Introduction
ISACS: Challenges in Inorganic Chemistry will bring together world-leading experts from several disciplines across the broad fields of inorganic chemistry and materials science. The diverse subject scope will provide a broad overview of some of the key challenges in these important fields, with many opportunities for networking. This meeting is part of a successful series of meetings in this area which included ISACS3 in Hong Kong, China (2010), ISACS8 in Toronto, Canada (2012) and ISACS13 in Dublin, Ireland (2014).

The Scientific Committee warmly invites you to take part and looks forward to welcoming you to Manchester.

Aims

The conference will provide an outstanding programme of lectures, complimented by extensive poster sessions forming a key part of the symposia. There will be questions after each talk and delegates will be exposed to new areas of research which will encourage the cross fertilization of ideas.

Themes

  • Main Group Chemistry

  • Metals in Biology and Medicine

  • Organometallic Catalysis and Small-Molecule Activation

  • Functional Inorganic Materials

  • Spectroscopy and Magnetism of Coordination Compounds
