The Management Interest Group is delighted to present a series of events to support aspiring, first line and experienced managers to help them develop in their careers. These are in-person events where attendees will receive an attendance certificate as evidence of CPD.
The first event will be held on 22 May 2025 for seasoned managers who are seeking to become non-executive directors. There will be an event also on 11 February 2026, International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The next event in the series will be on 29 October 2025 for aspiring managers and is entitled "So you want to be a manager?"
There will be a panel discussion with managers from a range of backgrounds and sectors who will share insights into their own careers. The event will be interactive as attendees will be able to ask the panel of experts questions and advice on anything to do with management and specific advice for their personal situation.
